Wow! This was an amazing sushi stop to add to my, go back again list. The menu had me flip flopping to make a decision it all looked, and sounded, so delicious. Decided on the, tastes like my ex girlfriend roll, and some sashimi. They were both to die for and definitely left me begging for more....space in my stomach, and already envisioning the next time I could return. Highly recommend giving them a try.

This was my second visit to this place. I enjoy the taste of the rolls and edamame. However, the calamari was rubbery this time, and they brought the wrong rolls instead of the ones I ordered. I’m not lowering the rating because the bartender/waiter offered to fix the order, but I declined since there were only 15 minutes left before closing. I understand the staff might have been tired. I also received a complimentary beer, which was a nice gesture — the customer service is good. As for the atmosphere, I give it two stars. I understand it’s meant to be an authentic spot and it looks great in photos, but in person it feels quite cluttered. The posters are faded and could use an update, and the place would benefit from being a bit cleaner.
LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE it here!!! The food is delicious. Atmosphere is so intimate yet still super close basically right on the Ave. Their sushi variety is great and they have other stuff and yummy drinks with a cool smoke bubble! They also have cool events like calligraphy class and fun stuff going on all the time.
Second visit here. i loved the izakaya. i got the pork belly and the thin sliced beef. i was expecting at least two skewers but it is what it is. they were both very flavorful and i really enjoyed it. both visits i got a JB roll and it was great both times. I also got the kimchi fried rice and it was a very generous portion. tasted amazing. i would absolutely recommend coming in here for some good eats. the server was very kind and attentive. one of the chef even came to me to check on me and see if i enjoyed his food which i did.
Pretty fun spot though not 100% authentic. Good drinks and delicious dumplings, those were the highlights. I’d come here for some snacks and mainly to drink. Of the yakitori, the enoki mushrooms wrapped in bacon and the shrimp were my favorites. The restaurant has really fun theming.
I brought my mom here the other day and we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was really cozy, the wait staff were friendly, helpful & quick and the food and drinks were delicious! This is now my favorite pub/restaurant and would recommend it to anyone who loves to go out for drinks and Japanese cuisine.
Insanely good food! I can't remember the last time I went somewhere and everything I ate was a homerun. I cannot recommend this place enough. Funny and creative drink names were really good! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. Try the Takoyaki, try the sushi, get the lemonade, and get the gyoza pan! Everything is amazing.
When you walk in, make sure you are aware of what door to walk into. It’s a tiny little place off of Atlantic Avenue in Delray & quite a tasty one at that. Prices were a little on the high end, quality of food was exceptional, & service was quick & with a smile. Remember that this is a Japanese tapas place so be ready to share & share a lot. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. So quiet and quaint, located just off the beaten path. Small, quality menu & everyone that was there, so happy; even the staff. Food was prepared perfectly, even the Secret Roll. Shhhhh. They won’t tell you what’s in it. Just let them know what you eat and don’t eat and what you’re allergic too & the chef will prepare something special. Worth it!!! I love Nigori (unfiltered sake) & the selection they had was very tasty & a little on the lighter & less milky side. Very interesting. Worth the small bottle that we got & shared. Everything was superb. We appreciated the entire experience & look forward to going back soon.
